This is what we call as a nail biting finish, New Zealand players battled their way out to what could have easily gone their way, but it was the destined England’s way.

England Team battled their way to a thrilling finish yesterday (15th July 2019) to clinch their first World Cup title. It was England vs New Zealand in the finals where the match ended up as a tie and we saw the Super Over in picture.
The England team came out with Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler in the Super Over and managed to score 15 Runs. New Zealand team had a tough call on whom to send, but then decided with Neesham and Guptill, the over was bowled by England’s best bowler, Jofra Archer.

World Cup 2019 – Man of the Tournament
Kane Williamson, the New Zealand Captain won the Man of Tournament award for scoring 578 Runs and leading the team from the front. He got the team out often from difficult situations single handedly and remained calm and composed throughout.
