Are you a Baltimore-based crime series fan? The team behind the thrilling series “The Wire” is back with a new mini-series ‘We Own This City’ for HBO.
The most anticipated show will explore the history of the Baltimore Police Department and their Gun Trace Task Force. However, the show will focus more on internal corruption with the actions of the task force affecting the lives of the American city. The series will witness mass arrests and plot of drug prohibition policies dominating the actual police work.
This mini-series is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, written by Pelecanos, Simon, Burns, Zorzi, and D. Watkins, and created and executive produced by George Pelecanos and David Simon.

The series features a strong cast list, including
- Jon Bernthal as Sgt. Wayne Jenkins in a central figure in federal corruption
- Rob Brown as Maurice Ward, a plain clothes man with the Gun Trace Task Force
- Wunmi Mosaku as Nicole Steele, an attorney assigned to the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice
- Josh Charles as Daniel Hersl, a brutal, cocky cop of Baltimore residents
- Darrell Britt-Gibson as Jemell Rayam, a targeted criminal involved in extortion, robberies, etc.
- Jamie Hector as Sean M. Suiter, a Homicide Detective
- Don Harvey as John Sieracki, a cop investigating the corruption task force
Other characters include McKinley Belcher as Momodu, Dagmara Dominczyk as Eika Jensen, David Corenswet as David McDougall, Ian Duff as Ahmed Jackson, Larry Mitchell as Scott Kilpatrick, Delaney Williams as Kevin Davis, and Lucas Van Engen as Leo Wise.

The six episodes limited series is all set to make its debut on HBO on April 25, 2022, and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
