Lalit Modi, the brainchild behind the world-famous IPL tournament, announced via social media that he is dating Bollywood actress, Sushmita Sen.
Lalit Modi posted several photos on the social media platform, Instagram, where he was seen enjoying on a vacation with Sushmita. He captioned the photos ““Just back in london after a whirling global tour #maldives # sardinia with the families – not to mention my #better looking partner @sushmitasen47 – a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon.”’
In another subsequent social media post, he clarified that they are not married yet and that they are just dating each other right now.
The news came as a surprise for many, since not long ago, Sushmita Sen broke up with her long-time boyfriend, Rohman Shawl, who also happens to be a model.
Reacting to this information, Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev Sen said he was not aware of this development and that he was pleasantly surprised by it.
Previously Sushmita Sen has been linked in a relationship with other notable personalities like Vikram Bhatt, Randeep Hooda, Wasim Akram, Ritik Bhasin and Mudassar Aziz.
Lalit Modi was previously married to Minal Modi. They tied the knot and remained together till 2018, when she died of cancer. She was 63 years old at the time.

Just the day after Lalit Modi announced he’s dating Sushmita Sen, and old tweet of his has surfaced online, and gone viral… for good reason you would think!
The tweet, in which Lalit and Sushmita talk about promises and commitments has been widely circulated by netizens, who claim the love story years back.
