Review of The Great Indian Family Movie
Vicky Kaushal has an engaging on-screen presence. His acting skills were energetic throughout the film. Therefore, he manages to make every character he portrays on screen seem plausible. He plays the role of the boy next door in The Great Indian Family and has managed to get it right. He is outgoing yet understated, funny yet sensible. If there is anything good in the movie, it is Vicky’s acting.
While Manushi Chillar looks beautiful playing the character of Jasmeet, her chemistry with Vicky Kaushal doesn’t impress the audience.
Vicky Kaushal’s sincere performance makes the movie watchable. Without him, it is merely an average picture that you can watch once. Perhaps it tries to convey a significant message, but the portrayal of this message is somehow lost.
