A spin-off to the television series Power, Power Book III: Raising Kanan is an American crime drama which is premiered on Starz. Soon after its first season, the makers renewed it for a second season which is due to be premiered on August 14, 2022. However, its popularity allowed the showrunners to announce an early Season 3 release on August 11, 2022, which was done even before Season 2 could be premiered.
Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 3 Plot
The crime drama television series is set in the 90’s and is based on the life of the famous rapper 50 Cent’s character – Kanan. The series reveals how the talented rapper got tangled in the world of drugs and crime. Season 1 ended with Kanan almost killing Detective Howard after trying to prove himself to his mother, Raquel, who has established a criminal empire and will do anything to keep it from crumbling.
Season 2 will have even more power and crime from Raq. She has been trying to become more powerful and manipulates Kanan into doing whatever she needs to transform a naïve Kanan Stark into a ruthless person, even if he has to commit murder.

Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 3 Cast
Mekari Curtis will return in the lead role of Kanan Stark, and so will Patina Miller as his power-hungry mother, Raquel or Raq. Hailey Kilgore will be back as Jukebox, London Brown as Marvin, and Malcolm Mays as Lou-Lou. Omar Epps will be returning as Detective Howard too.
There will be several new cast in Season 2, including

- Michael Rispoli as Sal Boselli
- Paloma Guzman as Detective Regina Foyle
