Although Sam Levinson, the creator and writer of the series, already confirmed that episode 8, which will air on February 27th, would be the finale of Season 2, viewers are demanding more. Will there be a Third Season of Euphoria on HBO?
As of now, HBO has been unable to declare whether or not Euphoria will return for a third season. Given its popularity, it appears that there will be more. HBO renewed the drama for a Season 2 barely one month after Season 1 premiered. So, the series may be renewed for a Season 3 faster than the second season did.
Euphoria Season 3 Release Date
We won’t know when Euphoria season 3 will premiere until HBO officially renews the show. Season 1 premiered in June 2019 and Season 2 premiered nearly two years later, in January 2022.
On the other hand, Season 2 production was significantly hampered by the COVID outbreak and the shooting was planned to commence at the beginning of 2020, but it began a year later, in April 2021.
If shooting can proceed as scheduled, we expect that Euphoria season 3 will premiere in early 2023.
