Famous celebrity dance show, Dancing With The Stars, recently wrapped their Season 31 in November 2022, as Tik Tok star Charli D’Amelio and professional dance partner Mark Ballas swept the Mirrorball Trophy. The fans, however, are looking forward to the next season, and the makers, too, are gearing up for Season 32.
When Will Season 32 Premiere?
Disney +Hotstar renewed the show for Seasons 31 and 32 last year in April 2022. Considering the show generally premiers in the fall, the fans can expect to watch this show in September on Disney +Hotstar. However, an official date for the show is yet to be announced by the makers.
Host of Dancing With The Stars
Alfonso Ribeiro will continue as a host for the series, while Julianne Hough will replace Tyra Banks in Season 32.
Tyra Banks officially announced her exit from the show on March 16, 2022. Speaking about her departure, the American actress stated that it’s time to focus on her business entrepreneurship, along with producing more TV. However, it is heard that, her actual moto is to graduate from the dance floor to the stock market floor… from the ballroom to the boardroom.
Julianne Hough has a long association with Dancing With the Stars. She first participated in the show as a professional dancer in 2007 Season 4 and was the youngest participant ever to win the Mirrorball trophy. She won in Season 5, too, and continued to be a part of the professional cast till Season 8. Julianne returned to the show in 2014 and stayed on till 2017, but this time as a judge. She will now co-host the show alongside Alfonso Ribeiro.
Judges of Dancing With The Stars
Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Derek Hough (Julianne and Derek are siblings) have been confirmed as judges for Season 32.
Last season, Len Goodman, the head judge for the show, already announced his retirement in the finale. Goodman has been associated with the show since its launch in 2005. Revealing how wonderful his journey was in the show, he said that it was a pleasure to be a part of the show Dancing With the Stars. But, he wish to spend more time with his grandchildren and family back in Britain”, he added.
A fourth judge replacing Len Goodman hasn’t yet been announced, so we can assume there will be a three-panel judge for now in Season 32.
Professional Cast of Dancing With the Stars
Cheryl Burke, who was associated with the show for 26 Seasons, announced her retirement from the show on her Instagram account.
Mark Ballas, who won the Mirrorball trophy alongside Charlie D’Amelio in Season 31, also revealed that he was retiring.
