‘The Walking Dead’ Season 11 Third and Final Installment: Release Date, Cast, Plot, and More

Despite a drop in their ratings, makers of ‘The Walking Dead’ are far from finishing the story. It is the longest-running zombie drama series on AMC that has been airing for over a decade. The makers revealed that they would conclude the story in 2020 but extended the Final Season 11 with 24 episodes.

The Walking Dead Season 11 Release Date

The first part of Season 11 aired in August 2021. The second part of the finale season went live in February 2022. The final set of 8 episodes is expected to be released by fall this year. The audience can expect a release date anytime!

Story of The Walking Dead Season 11

The second installment of season 11 ended in an edge for many as Commonwealth’s Lance Hornsby is now controlling all the three survivor sites. It is uncertain whether he is acting alone or under the orders of Governor Milton, but Aaron, Maggie, Gabriel, and Daryl have all grabbed the attention of the powerful humans. Another mystery to be revealed this season is whether or not Aaron, Carol, and Connie will survive the storm and if Gracie and Judith will make it out from the flooded basement.

Writer Angela Kang revealed that the audience should expect several ‘twists and turns’ in this finale.
