When will Shamshera hit the big screen?
Shamshera is all set to release today in theaters with an advance booking of 23,000. Yes, you read it right! If everything goes by the director and producer’s plan, Shamshera is going to be the highest-grossing movie of the year.
Budget and Box Office Collection of Shamshera
Shamsera has stolen the limelight because of Ranbir’s appearance in the main lead. And this movie is Ranbir’s comeback to Bollywood after 4 years. Last the actor was seen in Sanju in 2018.
Well! If reports and buzz are to be believed, Shamsera is expected to have an opening of Rs. 15-20 crore. The movie is made under a budget of Rs. 150 crores.
Reportedly, Ranbir Kapoor charged Rs 20 crore, Vani Kapoor charged around Rs 5 crore, and Sanjay Dutt charged Rs 6 crore.
What could be expected from the movie Shamshera?
The story of Shamsera is based on a fictitious city of Kaza, where a ruthless general government authority Shudh Singh, imprisoned, slaved, and tortured a tribe. Frustrated with torture, a tribe man becomes the leader of their group and then legend. Together with the tribal community, Balli forms a plan to overthrow Sudh Singh and take back their freedom.
