Shahrukh Khan starrer, Zero gets Mercilessly Trolled

One of the most anticipated and awaited films of the year was none other than the Shahrukh Khan starrer, Zero. The audience did have many hopes from the movie. The teaser released 12 months back had just a glimpse of the acting, and that itself had taken the market down by the fire. While some were commending Anushka for her performance, some were thrilled to see Shahrukh in his new avatar. Ever since the trailer dropped declaring the release date to be 21st December, fans had been excitedly waiting for the day to arrive. Moreover, the movie turned out to be a complete disaster.

Zero Trolled: An utter disaster

The film neither received positive reviews from none, neither the public nor the critics. Memes have now become a trend for the country. Even when the slightest of things happen, it is eventually turned into a meme. Moreover, for a movie that was expected to do great, turning out to become a disaster had no way out. The critics like Rajeev Masand, Anupama Chopra, and Taran Adarsh strongly gave negative reviews, and the trollers turned it into the meme. If you open any of your social media accounts, you are sure to come across at least one of the brutally trolled Zero meme. You cannot deny, but some of these memes are hilariously bad. Virat who had admired his mistress’ performance in the movie was trolled too.

However, one thing to be noted is that many are claiming Zero to be a good movie. The mixed reviews of the film have everyone confused (the ones that haven’t seen the film). One of the Twitter users tweeted that one needs to have a heart and emotional sentiment to understand the importance of a movie like Zero. However, on the other hand, the movie is simply trolled for being illogical and baseless. The critics have claimed that the first half of the film is quite interesting, but it is the second part that is disappointing. The critics claim that just random things have happened in the second half leaving everyone disappointed.

Zero Trolled: Mixed reviews

Zero is the film that revolves around a dwarf, Baua Singh who is very confident about his drawback. He is happy being incomplete. He falls in love with Aafia Yusufzai Bhinder (Anushka Sharma), a NASR scientist and at the same time enchanted by the beauty of Babita Kumari (Katrina Kaif), a Bollywood star he has admired for a long time. It revolves around the three characters and how each helps the other in healing.

When the trailer of Zero dropped, the people did expect it to be a blockbuster and enter the 100 crore club. However, now it does not seem that the movie may be able to make it through. ON its second day, it just collected a mere 17 crore, and on Sunday the amount just rose a little to stand at Rs 18.25 crore. On its opening day, Friday, during the festive season, Zero only managed to secure a mere Rs 19.35 crore. By the fourth day, Zero had gathered to itself only Rs 64.10 crore.

Moreover, popularity is gradually decreasing over time. It seems like it will be tough for the film to make its mark in the 100-crore club. Not even the charm of SRK and direction of Anand L Rai win the hearts of people.
