Patanjali’s Coronil is making news all around and for good reasons. According to the claims by Patanjali, this is the first medicine that can help cure Coronavirus completely. But, ever since the announcement, there have been many controversies about medicine.
While Patanjali claims that medicine completes all the medicines’ criteria, there are still a lot of things involved in medicine. Moreover, it was claimed by company CEO Acharya Balkrishna that the medicine did clear all the clinical trials and the details have been forwarded to AYUSH Ministry.
But, it was expected that the OrderMe app would be launched into the market by next week. The app is free to download and can be used by people to get the medicine delivered at their homes directly. The complete details about the medicine still happen to be unclear, but one thing is certain that the app will be available on both iOS and Android platforms.
Don’t know what Coronil is? Here’s everything that you need to know about the “magic” medicine that can supposedly cure Coronavirus completely.
Coronil launched by Patanjali claims to cure Coronavirus made of. However, it aims at enhancing the immunity system.
As per Ramdev, all immunity-boosting elements have been used in the medicine and that the tablet contains more than 100 compounds. Coronil is made of all the immunity-boosting materials such as Mulethi, Giloy, Ashwagandha and Tulsi.
But, there are other immunity boosters in the medicine. As well.
AYUSH ministry also sent out approval for using Ayurvedic elements to treat Coronavirus, but further studies need to be carried out to determine the medicine’s effectiveness.
As per Patanjali, an entire kit has been developed to be delivered through the OrderMe app. The kit will contain tablets referred to as Coronil and Swasari Vati with medicine known as Anu Oil.
The entire kit will cost 545 INR, and will contain medicines for 30 days. But, Baba Ramdev has claimed that the medicine will be provided for free to people below the poverty line.
The Patanjali Divya Corona Kit can be ordered through OrderMe, but it will also be available at Patanjali stores across the world.
As per the claims, people between the age of 15-80 years, should be taking medicine as 2 tablets each day with hot water half an hour after the meals.
However, for kids between the age of 6-14 years, half the amount should be given. The other two medicines that can be consumed with Coronil include Shwasari, to boost respiratory disorders such as cold, fever and cough; and Anu Tel, a nasal drop that helps boost the immunity system.
Although Patanjali has claimed that the tests conducted by them showed 100% recovery rate, AYUSH Ministry has refused to comment on it. As per AYUSH Ministry, no scientific data has been provided to them regarding the effectiveness of the medicine.
Not yet.
Uttarakhand Ayurved Department stated that approval was given for immunity booster, fever and cough, but there was no mention of Coronavirus. The License Officer further added that a notice will be issued to Patanjali regarding “how they got permission to make the kit.”
AYUSH Ministry on the other hand has asked Patanjali to provide complete details regarding the composition of medicines.
All these claims have led to the spark of a controversy.
While Ayurvedic medicines help treat different illnesses, the effectiveness in treating Coronavirus hasn’t satisfied the medical professionals.
