NEET or the National eligibility cum Entrance Test for the admission of the candidate with the bachelor degree of MBBS and BDS will begin on 6th May. The announcement was made by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) back on Thursday. The online submission of the forms by applicants have already started from 8th February. The students can register online for the examination till 9th March, 11:50 pm. Also, the students can pay their fees successfully by 9th March, 1950, as per the notice.
This time, CBSE has announced that the Aadhar number of the students would be required for the filling up of forms. However, Aadhar number will be required in every state other than Assam, Jammu and Kashmir and Meghalaya. It is said by CBSE, the students must give their consent in the procedure. If the details of the candidate are mismatched from that of his or her Aadhar, the student would be ineligible for filling up the form.
To fill up the form for NEET 2018, the student must fulfil the following criteria:
The applicant must have attained the age of 17 or should attain it before 31st December, 2018. This is considered to be the year in which the applicant will get admission in the MBBS or BDS course.
The student of up to 25 years of age, can apply for the examinations. Relaxation for five years in the age would be offered to the students of SC or ST and OBS categories. It will also hold applicable for any student belonging to the reservation category registered under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016.
Students must have a minimum marks of 50% in their PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Biotechnology) subject. The choice of the subjects for the students can be physics, chemistry, biology or biotechnology and English. Although there is a relief for students belonging to the SC or ST and OBC category. The student belonging to this category must have a minimum marks of 40% in their Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology subject altogether.
The student can apply for the NEET through the Board website directly. To register for NEET 2018, following steps must be followed:

At the footer, “Apply Online” option would be available. Click on it.
After registering, it is essential to log in with the credentials. The step can only be completed through the payment of the fees.
The confirmation page needs to be downloaded and at least three copy of the printout must be kept for further use.
Before NEET 2018 begins, there are certain important dates. This time, for NEET UG 2018 following are the important dates:
Beginning of Application Process: 8th February, 2018.
End for applying online: 9th March, 2018.
Last Date for the payment of application fee: 10th March, 2018.
Correction of applications (if any): 12th to 16th March, 2018.
Date for admit cards release: 2nd week of April.
Date of examination: 6th May, 2018.
Result (Expected): 5th June, 2018
