Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail Season 5: The Show Gets Cancelled Or Will it Make its Return?

There has been so much talk going on about the upcoming season of Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail. Has it been cancelled, or will it come back on Discovery+? Well, apart from all the speculation regarding its renewal, the series is coming back with an adventure of a lifetime. Discovery+ has officially announced the series’ arrival next month. The series will hit discovery+ on Friday, June 17.

Parker’s Trail revolves around Parker Schnabel, a 27-year-old gold miner, who will risk it all to find the best gold. In this season, the stakes are even higher. Parker and his friends will travel even further in search of gold. The next destination is New Zealand. The crew will head deeper into the land of sharks, hobbits, big gold, and revolutionary mining gear. They will explore the wilderness and take Parker’s mining to the next level.

Will there be a 5th season of Parker’s Trail and what it can bring?

This season can bring an edge back home, as the crew has started to explore this uncharted territory. In the previous Yukon season, Parker’s team closed on $15 million. But this season is different. There are more on the line as Parker has put down $200,000 of his own gold on a Fairbanks property way back in Alaska. According to Parker, this investment has a huge profit. However, before that, he needs to get his hands on some specialty equipment to process the clay-rich ground. And that’s the reason for him to travel all the way over to New Zealand. According to Parker, New Zealand has the power of engineering that can give him any chance of a massive Alaskan payday. But what Parker didn’t anticipate is the life-threatening environments and secretive Kiwi mining communities that are not so very friendly to outsiders.

How much gold did the Hoffmans find in season 5?

The 5th season of Gold Rush premiered on Friday, October 17, 2014, on  Discovery Channel. After the epic battle between Parker and Hoffmans, the season came to an end. In this season, Parker mined 2,538 ounces totaling just under $3 million. On the other hand, the Hoffmans mined 1,349 ounces totaling just over $1.6 million.
