Bell Bottom: Akshay’s Next Biggie In the Box Office

The world is already having a hard time due to the pandemic outbreak. Since social gatherings are suggested to be avoided, we yet do not know when we would get the opportunity to watch movies on the big screen. While many countries have claimed that Covid-19 vaccine will be launched soon, we can expect to get back to normal by next year.

But, hey, what next? Akshay Kumar, popularly known as the Khiladi of Bollywood has already delivered some of the mind-blowing performances in 2019 in different films such as Kesari, Housefull 4, Mission Mangal, and Good Newwz.

With the world going on a halt and the theaters brought to a closure, many movies are being released on OTT platforms. Akshya’s Suryavanshi and Laxxmi Bomb are all set to make their way into OTT platforms. But, that’s not all. Akshay has brought another treat to us and that’s the spy-thriller Bell Bottom.

Many fans have claimed that this movie is a remake of a South Indian movie from 2019 of the same name. But, Akshay clarified the air and stated that it is not the same, but a true story.

Releasing the poster of the film last year, Akshay wrote on Twitter, “Get ready to go back to the 80’s and hop into a roller-coaster spy ride, #BELLBOTTOM! Releasing on 22nd January, 2021.”

The movie is directed by Ranjit M Tewari and is being produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Monisha Advani, Nikkhil Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Deepshikha Deshmukh. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Huma Qureshi and Vaibhav Choudhary.

Are you ready to witness the crazy spy-thriller? Hold your breaths because January isn’t that far.

Currently, Akshay’s Laxxmi Bomb is to be released on the OTT platform, Hotstar anytime soon.
