Featuring Ali Wong and Steven Yeun, Beef is a 10-episode series written by Lee Sung Jin, known for ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’. The series is all set to make its global debut on Netflix this month.
An excited Lee Sung Jin, in one of his interviews, said, “Ali Wong, Steven Yeun, A24, and Netflix. It’s like a dream team, and I’m honored to collaborate with them”. He further added that he is grateful to the guy who yelled at him in traffic three years ago. He did not let it go, and now here is a show.
Plot of Beef
Beef is the story that follows an incident that happens between two strangers, Danny Cho and Amy Lau. Cho is a hustler who isn’t doing well, while Lau is an entrepreneur with an interesting life. Their feud doesn’t seem to end on the road; instead, it moves ahead in their lives, revealing to the audience more about their lives, relationships, and how they seem to be consumed by revenge. It is a dark comedy series with a lot of emotions.
