Actor Hugh Jackman has reportedly hit the gym again to get in shape for his rumored cameo appearance in Deadpool 3. Jackman, who famously played Wolverine in the X-Men film series, has been spotted working out with personal trainer Mike Ryan at his New York City gym.
Ryan shared a photo on Instagram of Jackman doing weighted squats, along with the caption “It’s been an awesome experience getting @thehughjackman prepped for his potential Wolverine appearance in @deadpoolmovie.”
There has been much speculation about Jackman’s involvement in the upcoming Deadpool 3, with some fans hoping for a reunion between the actor and his former X-Men co-star Ryan Reynolds. While Jackman has previously stated that he is done playing Wolverine, he has not ruled out the possibility of a cameo appearance in a future film.
It will be interesting to see what kind of role Jackman will play in Deadpool 3, or even if he will appear at all.
