Shahid Kapoor’s Farzi made quite some buzz in the OTT platform when it was released last year in February 2023. Released on Amazon Prime Video, the series is about a talented artist who is able to replicate the Indian Currency flawlessly.

Will there be a Farzi Season 2?

Yes, in one of his interviews, Shahid Kapoor confirmed that Farzi would be back for Season 2. The makers have left the story in an open-ended way, ensuring the fans more thrill, drama, and action in the plot. 

When will Farzi Season 2 be Released?

While the makers are yet to reveal any details on the filming or production of the series, they can expect Season 2 to wrap up by the end of this year and premiere in the first quarter of 2025.

About Farzi Web Series

The story is about a young boy, Sunny, who is an artist and always dreams of making it big in the world. He lives with his grandfather, who runs a small printing press, and always hangs out with his best friend, Firoz. He discovers that he is able to replicate the Indian Rupee notes exactly and begins printing them secretly at night in his grandfather’s press along with his friend. They manage to make deals with small goons and then move up the ladder to supply more fake notes and soon get rich. On a different side of the story, Special Task Force Officer Michael Vedanayagam pursues gangsters dealing with counterfeit money. Soon, Sunny gets entangled with a dangerous gangster, Mansoor, and also has Michael pursuing him.
