Raj Kundra will soon be seen in the movie UT69 ((Under Trial 69). Kundra, a famous businessman, and Shilpa Shetty’s husband, was involved in a case related to creating pornographic content and had to spend more than two months of jail time. After his release from jail, Kundra has been seen wearing a mask in public. 

Mumbai’s crime department detained Kundra in July 2021 after he was charged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, the Information Technology Act, and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. Bail was granted to him only in September 2021.

He has now turned that phase of his life into a movie.

Raj Kundra himself will be seen playing his role. The movie has been directed by Shahnawaz Ali and is a production of SVS Studios. The movie has been co-produced by The Bigger Picture Films. 

What is the Plot of UT69

UT69 is about the time that Raj Kundra spent in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail when he was under trial. Kundra was treated just like the other prisoners and was not even allowed a toothbrush inside. In the movie’s trailer, Kundra is emphasized as being at the center of everything and that this is his karmic debt.

Raj Kundra, who is a British citizen, revealed that the case was still ongoing and that he was innocent. He discussed his time behind bars, emphasizing the difficult circumstances and bizarre nature of his surroundings. Kundra also emphasized the stressful environment inside the prison walls by describing the challenges he encountered when connecting with other prisoners who were charged with serious crimes.
