Calling all the legal drama lovers on board, The Good Fight is returning for its final wrap-up! As per the CBS report, with season 6, the long-running show of Robert and Michelle King will come to an end.
In an interview, Michelle King stated, “The reason for calling off the show is just to maintain the quality issue. We don’t want to stretch the story unnecessarily. Season 6 is very much about the civil war in our country, and it felt like it was the story to tell in the last season of this show.”

In the Season 5 finale, Maia (Rose Leslie) and Lucca (Cush Jumbo) quit Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart to start their own firm, Riveting. Diane (Christine Baranski) is made a named partner at the firm, which she renames Lockhart, Deckler, Gussman, Lee, Lyman, Gilbert-Lurie, Celebrating, & Stebbins, in an effort to keep Robert’s legacy alive. In the episode, Diane must deal with the fallout from her decision to run for office, while Lucca represents a new client with ties to the White House.
The Good Fight Season 6 will see the return of several fan-favorite characters, including Kurt McVeigh (Gary Cole), who will guest star in the season premiere. Additionally, Michael Boatman will return as a series regular after appearing in a recurring role in Season 5. In the upcoming season, Diane and her team were seen transported to a parallel universe where they must deal with the consequences of their choices.
