Nationally syndicated daytime talk show Tamron Hall has been renewed for Season 5. Earlier in 2020, the show was renewed for two years. Some of the leading broadcasting groups Scripps, Hearst, Cox, Nexstar, and Gray, along with ABC Owned Television Stations, were a part of Tamron Hall talk show’s renewal.
Ranking among the top five show’s in the households, it is the only talk show that upped every year in the Women 25-54 demo. It has averaged more than 1 million viewers every day. It is now the most improved returning daytime talk show (one-hour), as it has been increasing total viewership by 9% year after year.
In the press release on the renewal of this show, President of ABC News Kim Godwin said, “We are thrilled by ‘Tamron Hall”s momentum in season four and can’t wait to see what the show brings in season five. Tamron is a daytime powerhouse, bringing heart and gravitas to every story and issue she covers and the people she profiles. Having our leading broadcast groups on board for next season is a testament to our continued successful partnership that is connecting with audiences across the country.”
The host of the show, Tamron Hall, has won two Emmy awards and is also the executive producer of the show ‘Tamron Hall’. She was ecstatic about the show being renewed for another season and exclaimed, “Having this incredible vote of confidence in the show speaks to the great work the THS team does every day.” Tamron has won over her fans since day one of the launch of this show, ensuring that every story she approaches is treated with respect and empathy. “I am so proud we have been able to make magic with great partners and grateful to launch into season five,” she added.
