The series is all set to release Season 4.
In July 2023, Netflix dealt a bittersweet blow to fans of “Sex Education” by officially announcing that the series will conclude with its fourth season. The streaming platform confirmed that the last episodes will be released on September 21.
While bidding farewell to characters like Otis, Maeve, Eric, and the rest of the gang, there remains a glimmer of hope, as a potential future season could explore a fresh generation of students within the familiar high school setting, drawing inspiration from shows like “Skins” or “Degrassi.”
Series creator Laurie Nunn hinted at the potential for more stories within the world of “Sex Education” despite the show concluding with its fourth season. This suggests that there might be room for future spin-offs or new characters set in the familiar high school setting, leaving fans hopeful for more captivating tales in the future.
She said, “Moordale is a really rich world, and writing about teenagers is always a lot of fun.”
