Ramy knocked us down with its incredibly strong message on April 19, 2019. The American dark comedy-drama successfully completed two seasons, and Hulu is fully ready to launch its third installment. The second season was released on May 29, 2020. And the series was supposed to hit the OTT platform on July 9, 2020. But the season got delayed due to the pandemic. However, fans are getting excited about its revival. Here is what we know about the third season.

So far, the series creators have not announced the original cast list for this season. However, we can already assume who’s going to come back for this season. The show has been created by its main lead, Ramy Yousef, with the help of Ari Katcher and Ryan Welch. Ramy Season 3 Release Date

The news of the third season’s release date was announced right one month after the second season premiere. However, due to the pandemic situation, it got postponed, and the pre-production and production took longer than anticipated. But to everyone’s surprise, Hulu announced the return of Ramy’s third season. However, we still don’t know the exact time.

Now, if you head into the show’s critical response, it has been rated 8/10 on IMDB for its incredible storyline. And on Rotten tomatoes, it got a rating of 97%, with an average rating of 8.2/10.

Ramy Season 3 Storyline and Plot

The story starts with Ramy, a first-generation Egyptian-American Muslim man in the timeline of 9/11 in New Jersey. After the 9/11 incident, Ramy went on a spiritual journey to figure out himself and his neighbors. The second season involves Ramy’s love life and how he was trying to begin a start-up and dealing with family differences. However, this current season’s plot is still unknown. It may probably show Ramy going in a new direction. The third season may also focus on the current scenario, such as Black Lives Matter and COVID-19, and obviously, the series will also give us some amazing good dark humor and laughter.
