Ram Charan’s RC15 Scheduled for Release in 2023 – Know the Cast, Movie Budget and Plot

RC15 is an upcoming political action thriller Telugu movie that has Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. The movie is directed by S. Shankar and has been produced by Dil Raju and Sri Venkateshwara Creations. The story has been written by Karthik Subbaraj.

The movie was announced last year in February 2021, and filming began in October 2021.

Budget of RC15

The movie began with an estimation of Rs. 200 crores which was given by the director. However, on request of the producers of the movie, the budget was later brought down to Rs. 170 crores.

Story of RC15

The script of the movie has been created around corruption in our political system. It is about some honest officers who have contributed to society and tried to stop corruption.

RC15 Shooting Locations

The first schedule of the movie was shot in Maharashtra and completed the shooting by the first week of November. Hyderabad, Punjab, Vishakhapatnam, and Andhra Pradesh are the other cities in which this film was shot. While most of the shooting for the film has been completed, some part remains to be shot. There has been some delay in the filming as Ram Charan was celebrating his success for RRR while Shankar is simultaneously filming for a second movie which is scheduled to release soon – ‘Indian 2’.

Release Date of RC15

Producer Dil Raju wanted to release the movie in January 2023 alongside Sankranthi, but another movie of Raju titled ‘Varisu’ is also due for release. Hence, RC 15 will probably be released in the second half of 2023. The movie will be released in Telugu, along with dubbed versions in Hindi and Tamil. Sun TV Network has acquired the satellite rights of this movie.
