Oscars Best Actor Predictions 2024

The Oscars, also known as the Academy Awards, are considered as one of the most prestigious awards in the global entertainment industry. They were first held on May 16, 1929, in a small dinner function with about 270 people at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Since then, it has not just been Hollywood stars but people associated with the entertainment industry worldwide who look forward to winning an Oscars. 

Since the time for the Oscars is nearing – scheduled for March 10, 2024. The nominations for various categories will begin soon – January 11 to 16, 2024. Fans have been rooting for their favorite artists to make it to the nomination list and then take home the shining award. Here is the list of Best Actor predictions for Oscars 2024:

1. Cillian Murphy

While we have known the man for so many strong performances through movies like Misterman, 28 Days Later, Inception, Intermission, and many more, he seems to be on the top of the list for his role in Oppenheimer, released in 2023. 

2. Bradley Cooper

The American actor has been gathering credits for his performance in the biographical romantic drama Maestro as Leonard Bernstein. He was a famous conductor, composer, pianist, music educator, and author.

In the past, Cooper has received nominations for nine Academy Awards, and fans are hoping that the actor take home the award this year!

3. Andrew Scott

We know him as Professor Moriarty from Sherlock and other roles in movies like Pride, Spectre, and 1917. Andrew Scott played the role of Adam in the movie All of Us Strangers – a British romantic fantasy movie for which it is predicted that he may receive the award for Best Actor.

4. Leonardo Di Caprio

Besides the iconic movie Titanic, DiCaprio has many other movies that have grossed over 7.2 billion worldwide. Some of the most famous movies for which he was appreciated for his performance include,

5. Jeffrey Wright

Jeffrey Wright has been appreciated for his role in the comedy-drama American Fiction, where he plays the character of Thelonious Ellison – a writer and a professor who is extremely talented. His books receive academic praise but never seem to make enough sales.
