Young Royals Season 2 is Coming this November to Netflix

Netflix had already declared in September 2021 that there will be a Season 2 of ‘Young Royals’, and on July 1, 2022, they officially announced through Twitter that the series would be released this November.

‘Young Royals’ is a Swedish series that reveals the story of Prince Wilhelm, played by Edvin Ryding, after he is enrolled in a boarding school for the elite – Hillerska. Things take a sudden turn for the teen prince when he unexpectedly becomes next in line to the throne. Audience loved the story of the young prince, especially his relationship with Simon Eriksson, played by Omar Rudberg, and was looking forward to a second season. Hence Netflix renewed the series for Season 2.

The trailer reveals that a new session at Hillerska School has begun and also gives the audience glimpses of the relationship between Wilhelm and Simon. To understand where their relationship stands and what fate has in store for them.

After Netflix announced season 2 in 2021, the filming for this series officially began in the month of February 2022. Netflix even shared a small video of the cast working on the sets titled “Our Young Royals are back!”
