Riverdale will Wrap Up with its 7th Season – Everything we Know so Far

Riverdale Season 7 Cast

So far, the plot of the upcoming season is still unknown. But we can expect almost anything given the history of plot twists in the series. But one thing is certain the old cast will be there for the finale. KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Madelaine Petsch, Mädchen Amick, Casey Cott, Charles Melton and Vanessa Morgan will return to the set. Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros will again produce the series and Aguirre-Sacasa is the director and executive producer, along with Berlanti Productions’ Greg Berlanti; Sarah Schechter, and Archie Comics publisher and CEO Jon Goldwater.

Is it the end for Riverdale?

Riverdale is based on Archie comics. Created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the show became an immediate hit when it was released back in 2017 on CW, along with its streaming run on Netflix. The first two seasons were no doubt amazing. However, since the last season, the show has taken a step back, with the viewership falling under half a million viewers. That’s why the broadcasters have decided to give the show a proper farewell. The CW chairman and CEO Mark Pedowitz recently stated, “I’m a big believer in giving series that has long run an appropriate sendoff,”. He also added, “We want to make sure it goes out the right way.”
