Netflix K-drama ‘The Interest of Love’ will be out this December – Know the Release Date, Cast and Plot

Netflix will begin streaming a brand-new weekly romantic Korean drama in December 2022. Starring Yoo Yeon Sok and Moon Ga Young, The Interest of Love will be a late yet intriguing arrival at the end of 2022. 

The upcoming South Korean Netflix Original love drama The Interest of Love was written by screenwriters Lee Hyun Jung and Lee Seo Hyun and directed by Jo Young Min. The South Korean cable network jTBC will air the series in that country.

Release Date of The Interest Of Love

The Interest of Love will be available on Netflix in December, though the specific release date has yet to be officially confirmed.

If the Korean drama follows the same schedule as other internationally licensed Netflix series, the first episode will air on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. 

The k-drama will have 16 episodes with a runtime of 70 minutes for each.

The Cast of The Interest Of Love

Yoo Yeon Seok, who starred in both Hospital Playlist and Narco Saints seasons, portrays Ha Sang-Soo. He is also well-known to Netflix subscribers and has appeared in popular dramas like Dr. Romantic and Reply 1994 in addition to Netflix. Ahn Soo Young is portrayed by Moon Ga Young. Although some K-drama fans may recall her from recent appearances in Link: Eat, Love, Kill, True Beauty, and Find Me In Your Memory, the actor’s Netflix K-drama debut will be The Interest of Love.

Plot of The Interest of Love

The Interest of Love is a realistic love story involving four people who met at the KCU Bank branch in Youngpo.

Ha Sang-Soo leads a normal life and thinks living a steady life makes people happy. His peaceful daily life changes as love enter the picture. Besides, An Soo-Young believes that love is transient and can end at any time. While she is busy taking care of herself in a tough situation, a man suddenly approaches her, making her feel excited.

On the other hand, Park Mi-Kyung is from a wealthy family. She has a strong sense of self and is quite honest about her emotions. She will do whatever it takes to persuade someone she likes to join her team. Park starts a romance, but things turn out differently than she expected.

Jung Jong-Hyun is preparing for a test to become a police officer. He has a personality that motivates him to give everything he does his all. He has a difficult life.

The makers have launched two teaser videos of the K-drama The Interest of Love.

The trailer depicted a mixed connection between young men and women forced to argue for their own understanding, raising the question, “Can love only be with love?” It suggests ideas and makes people wonder about the prerequisites for their love. The poster’s details are extremely striking. The employee ID necklaces, name badges, and accessories they wear can all prove the difference in their ranks.
