On January 20, 2022, Aardman confirmed the details of cast members for the sequel of Chicken Run. What can be expected plotline with the return of Rocky, Ginger, and Co? Here is everything we know about Chicken Run 2.
There is no official date announced yet for the Chicken Run 2, but Ardman has confirmed the next sequel of Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget will most probably be in 2023.

The show will return with some changes in the original cast of the first sequel of Chicken Run that includes Zachary Levi and Thandiwe Newton voicing Rocky and Ginger over Mel Gibson and Julia Sawalha, respectively.
Rocky and Ginger’s family expanded with a little girl named Molly, voiced by Bella Ramsey. However, the sequel will also return some voice-over artists like Jane Horrocks, Lynn Ferguson, and Imelda Staunton as Babs, Mac, and Bunty. Fowler’s character will be voiced by David Bradley. Romesh Ranganathan and Daniel Mays will craft rats Nick and Fetcher’s voices.
There will be the entry of some new characters with Josie Sedgwick-Davis and Nick Mohammad playing Frizzle and Dr. Fry’s voice in the sequel of Chicken Run.
After having a death experience at Tweedy’s farm, Ginger has located a peaceful island sanctuary for the whole flock away from the danger of humans. With hatching, a little girl called Molly Rocky and Ginger’s happy ending story in Chicken Run’s first season is seen. However, there are more threats waiting for the whole chicken flocks on the mainland.
It is unpredictable that is Ginger, Rocky, and the whole chicken flock can live happily on the island, or there are some more dangers and life threats waiting there for them.

I'm so glad there's going to be a "Chicken Run" sequel. I so hope that the characters from the first movie will still be present in this sequel : Ginger, Rocky, Babs, Colonel Fowler, Mac, Nick, Fletcher, Bunty, maybe Mrs. Tweedy and Mr. Tweedy too.
