However, since Endemol Shine holds the rights to Black Mirror, the production company Brooker and Jones are unable to make any more episodes.

In one of his interviews, Charlie Brooker revealed that he wasn’t sure if the audience wanted to watch any more episodes of Black Mirror after the pandemic. Hence their production company was focused on creating comedy projects.

Endemol Shine has now been purchased by Banijay Group, and this production house seems to be interested in releasing a new season. Although it is unlikely that Season 6 of Black Mirror will be released in 2022, there are chances that there will be a Season 6 in 2023.
