Finally, after months and months of wait, Supermodel of the Year is all set to be aired on MTV. Recently only the promos of the show were launched by the respective judges and let us tell you, we just can’t keep calm.
In the promo, we see some known faces and we miss some faces. Unlike the previous season, Ujjwala Raut and Masaba Gupta won’t be a part of this season. But that shouldn’t break your heart, because our diva, Malaika Arora, and the handsome hunk, Milind Soman and Anusha Dandekar will surely pave the way.
Sharing her pictures from the set, Malaika took to Instagram to share the news of SuperModel of the Year 2’s arrival. She captioned the video. “Be unapologetically you. MTV Supermodel of The Year season 2, starting August 22nd, 7pm on MTV India.”
The discussion about this season revolves around being You and your unapologetic self. Accordingly, the participants will be questioned about their choices and notions that help them break free from the stereotypes.
Sharing the news of the arrival of the show, Malaika shared, “I’ve always been in awe of the grit and passion the women of today possess, and MTV Supermodel of the Year sets the foundation for these talented ladies to showcase their individuality in the most impressive form. With the first season being an absolute rollercoaster for us, the second one is sure to be a notch higher.”
The other two judges were no less behind. They had something to share too. Milind Soman, one of the most adored judges of the show went on to say, “Being a supermodel is all about putting your best out there and embracing all that is unabashedly you. We saw that come alive in the first season of the show and were stunned by the confidence, poise, and grace in each one of the contestants. With the dynamic world of fashion bringing in new trends and styles, it will be interesting to see how the young women of today stand out of the crowd and lead by example.”
Talking about the importance and criteria for becoming a supermodel in today’s time, Anusha shared,
“It can be a powerful way to feel inspired and present the most authentic version of yourself. The best thing about fashion and beauty is that you can express yourself through your style and personality regardless of where you come from, and we strive to follow the same mantra with ‘Supermodel of the Year”.
