Mission Majnu Review: Siddharth Malhotra, Rashmika, and Sharib Deliver Staggering Performance

Fans cannot get much of the latest movie ‘Mission Majnu’ featuring Siddharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna. It was released on Friday, January 20, 2023, on the OTT platform – Netflix and the audience is longing for a theatrical release.

The 1970s are the setting for the film, and Siddharth Malhotra plays an Indian spy.. Twitter is drowning with praise not just for Siddharth Malhotra’s performance but for the entire movie. Several patriotic dialogues used in the movie seem to have made the audience emotional. The movie has everything – patriotism, action, spy sequences and a beautiful love story.

The movie has been directed by Shantanu Bagchi and is based on true events that took place in the 1970s. Siddharth plays the role of a tailor who lives in Pakistan and gathers intel about their nuclear facility, and reports it back to the Indian government. Rashmika plays the role of his wife and is actually a part of their cover in Pakistan.

Speaking about her character in the movie through her tweet, Rashmika wrote,

Sharib Hashmi and Kumud Mishra are also a part of the movie. The story is written by Sumit Batheja, Aseem Arrora, and Parveez Shaikh. Mission Majnu has an excellent plot loaded with patriotism and heroic deeds. It is both emotional and exciting. It keeps the audience engaged right to the end. Considering the movie was released just before Republic Day, Director Shantanu Bagchi has paid an emotional tribute to all those special heroes who sacrificed their lives for their Motherland.
