Mirzapur Season 2 coming up and Kaleen Bhaiya is to make his way back

Mirzapur, made headline with Season 1 in Amazon Prime is all set to make its way back by the end of this year. Amazon Prime has announced the sequel for the web series. The web series is a gangster drama starring Pankaj Tripathi, Vikrant Massey, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Shweta Tripathi, and Ali Fazal.

Mirzapur Season 1 had nine episodes each about 1 hour in length. The story revolves around dons of Mirzapur. Excel Media and Entertainment had produced the series and it’s all about crime, and rivalry persistent in the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh. The first season had gathered a lot of praise from the audience and turned out to be an immense favorite.

Farhan in an interview said, “It is exciting to see that global audiences are responding well to the kind of content we are creating. It started with Inside Edge being nominated for an International Emmy and now Mirzapur being watched & loved across India and globally. We are glad that the show has been renewed for the next season giving us another chance to showcase Indian stories on a global stage.”
