The weekend started with the top 10 contestants. In today’ show Aditya announced that the votes from previous week were carry forwarded and thus there will be a double elimination. The Indian TV singing reality show is now down to the top 8 contestants and we are not far from a finale of Indian Idol Season 13.

Navdeep is an amazing artist but he is not versatile.
I was shocked by the elimination of Vineet and Kavya over Chirag. Chirag is a great singer but I feel like vineet and kavya both are better singers than him. Anyway – fact is that no matter who was eliminated audience will have similar reaction of disbelief because this year’s top 10 are all so amazing that cutting the list down to 9 8 7 ….3 2 1 singer is going to be extremely difficult.
Kaviya and Vineet , both great singers . Do not understand why they were eliminated .First of all to be very blatant that a singer cannot be judged by votes received. There are so many people in India who do not have a Smart phones or Internet
and the know how to vote . The

All 10 contestants were too good to be eliminated. Just one slip could bring a contestant into danger. Exactly same happened.
Regarding Navdeep, he is a great singer of his genre. Just as Jagjeet Singh, Anup Jalota, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan are/were great singers in thier respective genres. He renders each song with his individuality and does not copy the original singer. Even when he sang a song Rangrez (Tanu weds Manu) originally sung by Wadali Brothers. He may not become a playback singer, but mark my words people will pay hefty ticket prices to attend his concerts.
Dibosmita Roy is singing very nicely and she should be the winner finally
