With the use of the distinctive art style to add depth and lively movement that fits with Bruce Lee’s genre-defining action, this series aims to expand the world of Bruce Lee action films into the format of an anime series.

When will House of Lee be Released?

It is anticipated that House of Lee will be released in 2024. However, makers are yet to announce the exact date of release.

The House of Lee teaser trailer was released on August 10, 2023, a few days before the legendary Bruce Lee movie Enter the Dragon’s 50th anniversary. The series’ vibrant and energetic visuals are showcased in the trailer, which stars Bruce Lee as the title character in a brief action scene. The distinctive artistic style should successfully depict Lee’s supple yet powerful movements. Bruce Lee’s movements are already perfectly timed with the trailer’s powerful sound design, which combines with the action to produce a highly dynamic scene.

The makers are yet to reveal the cast of this series. While visually, Bruce Lee’s animated version will be seen playing the lead role visually, we are yet to learn who would give voice to the artist’s character. 

What is the Plot of the House of Lee?

The plot of the upcoming Bruce Lee anime House of Lee has not yet been fully disclosed. However, it is certain that the action/fantasy series will follow Bruce as he attempts to assemble a band of dragon warriors to defend the world from evil. The majority of the story aims to continue Bruce Lee’s iconic legacy while extending his creative output into the anime genre with this new fantasy series. The show has been inspired by one of Bruce Lee’s famous quotes, “Those who are unaware they are walking through darkness will never seek the light.”

Bruce Lee popularized martial arts in cinema and became a worldwide celebrity because of his personality. Born in San Francisco in 1940 , the actor died at the very young age of 33 in Hong Kong in 1973. Although he was born in the United States, Lee was raised in Hong Kong and became familiar with the entertainment business through his father, a part-time actor.
