The show was inspired by the blockbuster Bollywood movie, Kabir Singh. In the story, Suhani is a simple and kind young girl who dreams of becoming a doctor one day. Even though her conservative father and grandmother don’t want her to become a doctor.

Rhea is Suhani’s best friend and studies with Ranveer Oberoi in the same college. Ranveer, on the other hand, is a very rough-on-the-edge kind of guy who hates his family except for his dead mother.
