BYUtv’s “Studio C” Renewed for Seasons 17 and 18 with Original Cast Reunion for 200th Episode Celebration

BYUtv has officially confirmed the renewal of the beloved comedy series “Studio C” for its 17th and 18th seasons. The news, announced on June 8, 2023, delighted fans who eagerly await the upcoming fall premiere of Season 17 and the subsequent release of Season 18 in Spring 2024.

The much-anticipated Season 18 will commence with an extraordinary milestone—a special 200th episode (an hour long) promising to be an unforgettable celebration. In a grand reunion, all 18 past and current cast members, including the revered original 10 original participants of the show, will make a comeback.

Studio C Sketches are Amassing Millions of Views on Social Media

“Studio C” has become a viral sensation on YouTube, amassing over two billion views and featuring guest appearances from renowned stars such as Kenan Thompson, Will Forte, and Jon Heder. The sketch comedy series derives its universally loved humor from everyday life, offering comic perspectives on common scenarios and pop culture commentary. Over the years, the show has created memorable characters like Scott Sterling, hosted a sold-out live special in New York City, and showcased a rotating cast of gifted comedians.

Sketches “Robbing a Bank on the Go” and “Captain Hook Gets Offended” have received 9.8 million views and 10.9 million views (part 1 of Captain Hook has 7.7 million views and part 2 has 3.2 million views), respectively on YouTube. 

The Cast of Seasons 17 and 18

The cast for Seasons 17 and 18 includes Garet Allen,  Jericho Lopez, Carl Foreman, Jason Gray, Kiri Case, Gabby Moore, Dalton Johnson,  Aleta Myles, and Tori Pence. Megan Rico, Mallory Everton, and Austin Williams will also make guest appearances in both seasons.
