The show’s longest-serving coach Blake Shelton is all ready to bid goodbye to the show after the 23rd season. On his Instagram handle, he announced,
“I’ve been wrestling with this for a while and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from ‘The Voice’ after next season,”
He also added,
“This show has changed my life in every way for the better, and it will always feel like home to me.”
He continued in his Instagram post, “I have to give a huge shout out to the singers — the ‘Voices,’ who come on stage season after season and amaze us with their talent, and a special thanks to those who chose me to be their coach,”
He has also thanked the viewers for this amazing journey in his post where he has written, “It’s about y’all, the fans, who watch and support these artists, us coaches and everyone at The Voice who are chasing their dreams,” he said. “It would not happen without you!”
The voice is one of the most famous singing competitions, and Shelton has been with the show since the first season, which went on air in 2011. The Grammy-nominated country singer was an inseparable part of the show. Other musicians served the show as coaches, and Shelton took his responsibility alongside, Adam Levine
Now, he is now all set to move on with his career. Fans will be missing his presence on this show in the upcoming season.
