Actress Megha Dhade won the first season of Bigg Boss Marathi and later appeared as a wild card entry in Bigg Boss Hindi the same year but failed to entertain the audience.
Bigg Boss Marathi season 2 launched on Colors Marathi with the tagline ‘Maza Ball, Mazi Bat, Maza Sump’. This season the lavish Bigg Boss house was constructed in Gurgaon Film City, Mumbai. The theme of the house for this season was ‘Royal Wada’. A new rule introduced in the season was AdgalichiKholi or Jail. Besides this, most of the rules were carried from the previous season. Shiv Thakare won the show and prize money by leaving all contestants back.
The third season has been postponed many times due to emerging cases of COVID-19. The house for the third season was given a traditional Marathi touch. An idea of a ‘Temptation room’ was depicted this season where contestants can make a phone call or gather information about other contestants, but they have to sacrifice something. This season gets the most-followed fans for the show. Lastly, the show and prize money were won by Vishal Nikam.
