Therefore, to fight off the negativity, Amitabh Bachchan has joined hands with sixty other celebrities to boost mental health and spread positivity.
The music video of “Guzar Jayega” (It shall pass) is aimed at helping people stay calm and maintain sanity in times of lockdown. The song is composed by Siddhant Kaushal and is the idea by Varun Prabhudayal and Jay Verma. The song is sung by eminent musical personalities such as Shaan, Kailash Kher, Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam and more.
The video features personalities such Yuvraj, Sania Mirza, Baichung Bhutia, Kapil Sharma, Anjum Chopra, vipin Aneja, Akhil Sachdeva, Deepak Malik, Jyoti Nooran, Ananya Birla and more.
Talking about the song, singer Shreya Ghoshal said, “As the narrative in Bachchan sir’s voice goes, ‘waqt hi to hai, guzar jayega (it’s just time, it will pass)’ we will have a plethora of emotions to indulge in, and realise there’s always a greater sunrise after the darkest of nights. I am happy to be a part of the song where everyone has come together to communicate that – this too shall pass.”
Sunny Leone, who will also be a part of the video said, “Though these are testing and difficult times, we all have come together to instil hope and courage through this song Guzar Jayega. We are in this together, and this too shall pass. Stay home and stay safe.”
