ROH World Championship is owned by The Ring of Honor (ROH) and is based in Jacksonville, Florida. This professional wrestling world championship was first established on July 27, 2002. It is owned by Tony Khan and founded by Rob Feinstein. It also made its debut on the same day. The name of the championship, ROH World Championship, was originally ROH Championship but was changed to the former after it was defended outside the boundaries of the United States of America in May 2003.
